First Time Guests
Anything that makes you feel comfortable is fine. Many guests will be wearing business clothes or slightly dressy casual clothes, but you’ll see everything from jeans or khakis to suits and cocktail dresses. Some people enjoy dressing up and making a special night of it and you can too.

Come Early
Plan to arrive at the theater doors 30 minutes before the show so you can find your seat, turn off your cell phone, take a look at your surroundings, absorb the atmosphere, take a look at the program or have time for a drink or a light snack. You’ll be surrounded by others and the buzz and anticipation of a special event.

Late Arrivals
You should also budget for 10-15 minutes to park and walk to the theater. Rushing to CCC at the last minute doesn’t really give you enough time to get settled, so you may not fully enjoy the first part of the show. And there’s another good reason to come early: Most events start on time. If you’re late, you may end up listening from the lobby! Most shows ask that our ushers hold late arrivals in the lobby until a suitable pause in the program, so your entry won’t disturb other guests.

Show Length
Broadway shows, concerts and comedy events are usually two to three hours long and most have an intermission. It’s a good idea to take a look at the program to get an idea of what to expect.

Intermission
Most intermissions are 15-20 minutes long, which gives you time to socialize, get a drink or a snack in the lobby, visit the facilities, or simply sit in your seat and read the program notes. Do whatever puts you in a good frame of mind for the second half of the show.
